Southern 6-Man (6 Man) recap Oct. 3, 2012

Tri-City co-op [Hobson/Moore/Judith Gap] scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Reed Point/Rapelje, 27-22. At the time, the Renegades was ranked 17th in the state, while the Titans was 39th.

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Tri-City co-op [Hobson/Moore/Judith Gap], who took down 17th ranked Reed Point/Rapelje, 27-22. Haden Wichman threw for 95 yards and one touchdown and caught two passes for 10 yards in the win.

Jake Stevenson's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Dakotah Blazicevich chipped in 117 yards. Tony Hofer helped Tri-City co-op [Hobson/Moore/Judith Gap]'s passing attack out by catching two balls for 42 yards.

Carver Hofer made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Titans bested Adam Wagner's team. The senior recorded one fumble and racked up 2.5 sacks.

Gavin Melichar was the best wideout in Southern 6-Man (6 Man) this week as Tri-City co-op [Hobson/Moore/Judith Gap] defeated the Renegades. Melichar tallied four receptions for 62 yards.

Tri-City co-op [Hobson/Moore/Judith Gap]'s offense has been unstoppable this season and the Titans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Luke Westbrook has thrown for 505 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Hofer has 21 catches for 238 yards. Melichar leads the league in rushing with 353 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Bridger takes on the Titans. At the moment, the Scouts are in first, while Tri-City co-op [Hobson/Moore/Judith Gap] is in fifth.

The Titans' Blazicevich recorded the longest rushing play in Southern 6-Man (6 Man) this season in his game against Reed Point/Rapelje last week.
