Basketball Recap: Nevis Takes a Loss

Nevis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Nevis' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Clearbrook-Gonvick, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

Nevis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-31 victory against Laporte on the 23rd. As for Clearbrook-Gonvick, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-17 win against Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal on the 23rd.
