Recap: Graham Red Devils vs. Eno River Bobcats

On Thursday, Graham came up short against Eno River and fell 50-43. Graham has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eno River to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sadie Olson, who scored 13 points along with five assists and three steals. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Ava Hill, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Graham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Eno River, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Graham will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chatham Central at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. The timing is sure in Chatham Central's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Graham has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season. Eno River won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Clover Garden School at 5:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Hopefully Clover Garden School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 last Saturday.
