Volleyball Recap: Andale Beats Mcpherson for Their Sixth Straight Win

Andale waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the McPherson Bullpups by a score of 2-0. The Indians were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bullpups, so the Indians were just returning the favor.

While Andale won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 29-27.

Hayden Grimes paced Andale's offense, picking up 17 kills. Grimes got some help from Abbi Winter and her 17 assists. Grimes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Andale's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for McPherson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Andale has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mulvane on the 2nd. After both having extra time off, McPherson and Buhler will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another on Tuesday.
