Pearce has gone 9-0-1 against MacArthur recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mustangs will look to defend their home pitch against the Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. MacArthur took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Pearce, who comes in off a win.

Pearce took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They never let Richardson get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Considering Pearce have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, MacArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Dallas Jesuit. While losing is never fun, MacArthur can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 464th, while Dallas Jesuit are ranked 20th).

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Pearce, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 7-4-2.

Pearce beat MacArthur by a goal in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, winning 3-2. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
