Basketball Recap: Red Oak Comes Up Short

The Red Oak Hawks were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 53-47 to the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Red Oak still got an impressive performance from Kerric Bradford, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 21 points. Another player making a difference was Jaamil Houston, who posted seven points and six rebounds.

Red Oak's loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Red Oak will take on Little Elm at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Lobos have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Duncanville, they will square off against Parish Episcopal on Saturday.
