Football Game Preview: Uxbridge vs. St. Peter-Marian

On Saturday St. Peter-Marian take on Uxbridge at 12:00 PM. St. Peter-Marian are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.

St. Peter-Marian had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They fell to Auburn 8-20.

Last Saturday, Uxbridge couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 0-27 walloping at Maynard's hands. Uxbridge were down by 0-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
