After losing to Escondido the last time they met, Escondido Charter decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. It was close, but the Tigers ultimately received the gift of a 3-2 victory from a begrudging Escondido Charter squad. That's two games straight that they have won by just one goal.

Santi Corro-Corona and Rafael Jimenez scored all three of Escondido Charter's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

The win made it two in a row for Escondido Charter and bumps their season record up to 4-1-1. As for Escondido, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 4-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Escondido Charter will be home for the holidays to greet Del Lago Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Escondido, they will welcome Orange Glen at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
