Basketball Recap: Tippecanoe Valley Victorious

Tippecanoe Valley's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 45-38 victory over the Kokomo Wildkats. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildkats, too.

Kokomo's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jhordyn Brown, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 14 points along with six boards and three steals, and Eliana Stewart, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

The win got Tippecanoe Valley back to even at 10-10. As for Kokomo, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tippecanoe Valley has already played their next match (against Wawasee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kokomo is taking a road trip to take on Tipton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kokomo is facing Tipton at the right time seeing as Tipton is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
