If Bishop Verot was feeling good fresh off their 16-1 takedown of Aubrey Rogers last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell just short of the Inspiration Academy Lions by a score of 6-4 on Thursday. The Vikings' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

McKenna Robbins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Bishop Verot's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Inspiration Academy, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Verot will take on Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
