Basketball Game Preview: Forsyth Home Educators Hawks vs. Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks

Having just played yesterday, the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks will jump right back in to play the Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Forsyth Home Educators is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Forsyth Home Educators saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They fell 52-45 to Palmetto HomeSchool. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 550th in North Carolina, while the Guardians are ranked 187th in South Carolina).

Meanwhile, everything went Spirit HomeSchool's way against Families Instructing Students HomeSchool on Wednesday as Spirit HomeSchool made off with an 80-60 victory. The Warhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Spirit HomeSchool and bumps their season record up to 20-10. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22 points. As for Forsyth Home Educators, their loss dropped their record down to 12-18.

Everything came up roses for Forsyth Home Educators against Spirit HomeSchool in their previous matchup back in March of 2018, as the squad secured a 97-43 victory.
