Football Recap: Bhryson Gordon's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Perry over Warner Robins

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 33-26 to the Warner Robins Demons. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Demons from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Perry lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bhryson Gordon, who rushed for 53 yards and one score. Perry also got a significant boost from Decorrion Daniels, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Warner Robins, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After each having a week off, Perry and North Oconee will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Titans' defense has only allowed 5.9 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Warner Robins, they will face off against Eastside at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
