Central Davidson had won two straight games and Cayman James did her part to make it three on Tuesday. Everything went the Spartans' way against the High Point Central Bison as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank James, who had six digs and five aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Central Davidson took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-15, 25-10.

Central Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for High Point Central, they dropped their record down to 5-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
