Volleyball Recap: Wild Rose's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

Wild Rose dropped to 2-4 on Tuesday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They fell just short of the Almond-Bancroft Eagles by a score of 3-2. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Almond-Bancroft, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since September 5, 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Laney Carlton, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Looking ahead, Wild Rose will square off against Stockbridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Almond-Bancroft, they will take on Green Lake/Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
