Clinton waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Heide Trask Titans as they made off with a 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for Clinton, who have now won ten contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Heide Trask from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Chris Zelaya led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Heide Trask, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Clinton is set to challenge their familiar foe Southwest Onslow at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Heide Trask will face off against rival Pender at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
