Baseball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

If Jefferson was feeling good fresh off their 15-5 takedown of Harvard last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The J-Hawks fell 4-0 to the Woodstock Blue Streaks on Wednesday.

Jefferson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Chavera, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Woodstock, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-4 defeat against Dixon on the 27th. As for Woodstock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-2 loss against Crystal Lake South on the 31st.
