Softball Recap: Marshwood Takes a Loss

Marshwood fell victim to Cheverus and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 14-0 to the Stags. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Stags recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Marshwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cheverus, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Marshwood will head out on the road to challenge Scarborough at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks are facing the Red Storm at the right time seeing as the Red Storm are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cheverus, they will challenge Bonny Eagle at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Stags' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Scots have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season.
