Basketball Game Preview: James Monroe Yellow Jackets vs. Caroline Cavaliers

James Monroe and Caroline are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The James Monroe Yellow Jackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Caroline Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. James Monroe knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Caroline likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, James Monroe ended up a good deal behind Eastern View and lost 81-65.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Caroline, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against King George by a score of 69-60 on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cavaliers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Caroline's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for James Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

James Monroe was able to grind out a solid victory over Caroline when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 64-57. Will James Monroe repeat their success, or does Caroline have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
