Baseball Game Preview: Enterprise Wildcats vs. Marbury Bulldogs

The Enterprise Wildcats will face off against the Marbury Bulldogs at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Enterprise sitting on three straight victories and Marbury on 11.

While Enterprise's win against Fairhope wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Enterprise's pitcher stepped up to hand Fairhope a 2-0 shutout on Saturday. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly two runs.

Fairhope's batters probably weren't too happy with Brady Richardson, who pitched a no hitter and racked up ten Ks (he gave up four walks). That's the most strikeouts Richardson has posted over his last five matchups.

Meanwhile, Marbury got the win against Chilton County on Saturday by a conclusive 14-2. That looming 14-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.
