For the second straight game, Douglas will face off against Sahuarita. Douglas will square off against Sahuarita at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Douglas is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Douglas came up short against Sahuarita and fell 8-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Douglas saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abel Clinch, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Clinch also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Andres Ortiz was another, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Even though they lost, Douglas was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. This was only their first loss (out of five games) when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Sahuarita has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 10-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1.
