Basketball Recap: Tree of Life Christian Comes Up Short

Tree of Life Christian suffered their biggest defeat since January 18th on Thursday. They took a blow against the Northridge Vikings, falling 49-15. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Trojans' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Ava Travis was her usual excellent self, going 9-for-12 on her way to 21 points and eight steals for Northridge. Travis' evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Naia Moore, who posted five points and three steals.

Tree of Life Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Northridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Tree of Life Christian nor Northridge have any future games scheduled.
