Willamette lost against Sheldon on April 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines fell 6-2 to the Irish. The Wolverines' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Willamette's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Sheldon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Willamette is set to take on their familiar foe South Eugene at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Sheldon will square off against rival South Medford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
