Football Recap: Greenwood Takes Down Ranked Shiloh Christian

Greenwood faced Shiloh Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Saints by a score of 35-24. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won three in a row.

Wesley Raggio had a dynamite game, rushing for 115 yards and two TDs. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kane Archer, who rushed for 45 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Greenwood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 230 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 156 rushing yards in six consecutive games dating back to last season.

Shiloh Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Max Eldridge, who rushed for 114 yards and three scores. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Cole Creighton was another key player, throwing for 208 yards and one TD.

Greenwood's record is now 4-0. As for Shiloh Christian, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.

Greenwood has already played their next contest, a 50-13 win against Russellville on the 3rd. As for Shiloh Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 55-41 victory against Mountain Home on the 3rd.
