Nunamiut took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Nuiqsut Trapper Trappers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Amaguq, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Nunamiut was: they took both sets by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-9.

Nunamiut wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Kali on the 10th. Hopefully Nuiqsut Trapper paid attention to the Amaguq's matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Amaguq at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
