Soccer Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley entered their contest against Weld Central on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Vikings came up short against the Rebels, falling 5-0. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Valley it sure didn't stay that way.

Valley is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6. As for Weld Central, they moved to 3-7 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Valley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Liberty Common on the 22nd. As for Weld Central, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 loss against Longmont on the 17th.
