Watersprings falls despite strong effort from Kaitlyn Syverson

Watersprings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 38-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sho-Ban. Watersprings was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Sho-Ban apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Despite the loss, Watersprings still got an impressive performance from Kaitlyn Syverson, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. That was a full 58.1% of Watersprings' points, marking the 18th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Watersprings has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Sho-Ban, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.
Watersprings does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sho-Ban also has no future games currently scheduled.
