Gallatin gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They blew past the Helena Bengals 14-7. For Gallatin, this counts as revenge for the 21-2 defeat Helena walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2021.

Kelly Coon was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and two RBI. Adyson Ryles was another key contributor, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, a triple, and two RBI.

On Helena's side, Keira Campbell and Kylee Gardipee did some serious damage despite the final result: Campbell fired off two home runs while going 2-for-5, while Gardipee went 3-for-3 with a home run, two runs, and a double.
