Sterlington had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Loreauville Tigers get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 17 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the tenth in a row for Sterlington, bringing their record up to 23-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Loreauville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-20 record this season.

Sterlington will square off against Doyle on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3, the Tigers 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Loreauville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
