Soccer Recap: King Takes a Loss

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Alonso Ravens, falling 8-0. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Alonso, their win bumped their record up to 12-1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King will venture away from home to face off against Gaither at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alonso, they will head out to take on Hillsborough at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alonso's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Hillsborough's offense will have their work cut out for them.
