Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Christian Takes a Loss

St. Joseph Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 55-30 to the Mound City Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 487th, while the Panthers are ranked 190th).

St. Joseph Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Mound City, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

St. Joseph Christian will challenge Stanberry at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Mound City, they will face off against Rock Port at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rock Port's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so Mound City's offense will have their work cut out for them.
