Basketball Recap: Blytheville Falls Short of Westside in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Blytheville can now relate to. They took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westside Warriors. The Chickasaws were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 59-48.

Blytheville's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Westside, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-15 record this season.

Blytheville will be playing at home against Forrest City at 7:00 p.m. on February 27th. Forrest City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Blytheville likes a good challenge. As for Westside, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-43 loss against Highland on the 22nd.
