Recap: MacArthur Generals vs. North Shore Mustangs
The MacArthur Generals lost against the North Shore Mustangs back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. MacArthur took a serious blow against North Shore, falling 59-26. While losing is never fun, MacArthur can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1217th, while North Shore is ranked 518th).
North Shore's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Teddious Mayes, who scored 12 points. Deandre Jones was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 assists.
MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for North Shore, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.
MacArthur's road trip will continue as they head out to face Cypress Park at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Cypress Park is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for North Shore, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Clear Springs at 7:00 p.m. Clear Springs is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
