Basketball Recap: Layton Christian Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Layton Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Pleasant Grove Vikings by a score of 64-53.

Gabriel Sularski had an outrageously good game as he went 7-for-13 on his way to 18 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Omar Mowafak, who shot 58% from the field en route to 19 points.

Layton Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Pleasant Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Layton Christian Academy will square off against Corner Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pleasant Grove, they will face off against Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
