Football Game Preview: Iroquois vs. Northwestern Area

Iroquois have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Northwestern Area at 7:00 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with seven consecutive losses apiece.

There's no need to mince words: Iroquois lost to Tiospa Zina last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 6-42.

Meanwhile, Northwestern Area suffered a grim 8-36 defeat to Hitchcock-Tulare. The state rankings had actually given Northwestern Area a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
