Baseball Recap: Chesaning Comes Up Short

Chesaning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montrose Rams. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Logan Vogelaar was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple. Blake Sanders was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Chesaning's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Chesaning will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Charles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montrose, they will square off against Caro at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
