Baseball Recap: Manor New Tech Beats Eastside Early College for Their Seventh Straight Win

Manor New Tech came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Eastside Early College Panthers as they made off with a 9-2 win. Considering Manor New Tech has won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Luis Villegas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up 16 Ks. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.3 strikeouts per game.
