South Fulton won the last time they faced Lake County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Red Devils put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.
One reason for the win was South Fulton's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-12.
Gabi Long paced South Fulton's offense, picking up six kills. Long got some help from Samantha Auxier and her ten assists. Auxier was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
South Fulton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Looking ahead, South Fulton will head out to challenge Bradford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake County, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Fulton County at 5:30 p.m.
