Softball Recap: Randleman Falls Short of West Wilkes in the Playoffs

Randleman and West Wilkes squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Randleman had to settle for second. They came up short against the Blackhawks, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blackhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 on Tuesday.

Randleman saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kinzie Ivey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Randleman and nudges their season record down to 20-7. As for West Wilkes, the win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 25-3.

As of now, neither Randleman nor the Blackhawks have any future games scheduled.
