It was a good run, but Lansing unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Maize South Mavericks by a score of 2-1. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Mavericks when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lansing's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Maize South, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

Lansing didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Bishop Miege on the 27th. As for Maize South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Bishop Carroll on the 27th.
