Delphi Community is a perfect 8-0 against Taylor since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Oracles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 5:30 p.m. Delphi Community is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Delphi Community took a 14-run defeat the last time they faced off against Rossville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Oracles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Hornets on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Oracles have posted since April 17th.

Mairi Cunningham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on seven hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Sami Leopard was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Ava Mills was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Delphi Community kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rossville only managed five.

Meanwhile, Taylor lost 20-5 to Alexandria-Monroe on Monday. The Titans have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Delphi Community, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Everything went Delphi Community's way against Taylor when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Delphi Community made off with a 21-1 victory. Will the Oracles repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
