Softball Preview: Franklin-Simpson Wildcats vs. Bowling Green Purples
The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats will take on the Bowling Green Purples at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Saturday, Franklin-Simpson was able to grind out a solid win over Ohio County, taking the game 4-1. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Franklin-Simpson got a great performance from Hester Blanckenberg as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched.
