Game recap

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. - Douglass (Upper Marlboro, Md.) snapped Friendly (Fort Washington, Md.)'s 4-game winning streak, with a 8-0 victory on Saturday.

The lead that the Eagles took on a touchdown run by Devonte Williams with 2:00 remaining in the first quarter stood up for the duration of the game, as neither team managed to score in the second half.

DHS went into the matchup giving up only 5.8 points per game. The zero points that the Patriots ended with were well below their average of 26.9 coming into the game.

The Upper Marlboro school also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 38-0.

The loss comes after Friendly defeated Crossland 50-20 last week.
