Basketball Recap: Buckeye Takes a Loss

If Buckeye was riding high fresh off their 50-25 takedown of Brookside last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Buckeye Bucks lost 41-19 to the Westlake Demons on Wednesday. The match marked the Bucks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ruby Hudak was Buckeye's leading scorer, having posted six points. Ava Wolf held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Westlake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JaCaia Onunwor, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds.
