Basketball Game Preview: Randleman Tigers vs. Asheboro Blue Comets + How To Watch

The Randleman Tigers and the Asheboro Blue Comets will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Randleman has given up an average of 61.5 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Randleman is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Tuesday. The contest between the Tigers and High Point Central didn't end well, with the Tigers falling 58-43. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The losing side was boosted by Trey Burnett, who posted 13 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Connor Cassidy, who scored six points in addition to six assists and five boards.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Asheboro). They claimed a resounding 74-37 victory over Eastern Randolph. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since November 26, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Asheboro's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Randleman, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
