Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Highland + How To Watch

Kennedy had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Highland Scots. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Thunderbirds have suffered against the Scots since September 2, 2021.

While Kennedy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-18.

Highland was led to victory by Mia Phelps and Aryanee Razo. Phelps had five digs and three aces, while Razo had seven digs and five assists. Those five assists gave Razo a new career-high.

Kennedy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against West on the 14th. As for Highland, they will face off against East Bakersfield at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
