Basketball Recap: John Adams Takes a Loss

John Adams and Washington squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but John Adams had to settle for second. They were dealt an 86-36 defeat at the hands of the Washington Tigers. The Rebels' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Washington got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chris Knight out in front who shot 58% from the field en route to 16 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Giorgio Jackson Jr, who went 6-for-7 on his way to 12 points and three steals.

John Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Washington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

John Adams does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-67 loss against Shaker Heights on the 1st.
