Soccer Recap: Lowell Find Success

Lowell proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Allendale Falcons 3-2. Lowell have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Allendale, too.

Lowell is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five matchups. As for Allendale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowell will face off against Sparta at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lowell will be up against Sparta's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.67 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Allendale, they will square off against Cedar Springs at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
