St. John Paul II and Alexandria squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but St. John Paul II had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Valley Cubs by a score of 3-2. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their 23-game winning streak.

Rhyan Holloway paced St. John Paul II's offense, picking up 19 kills. Holloway got some help from Elizabeth Rohling and her 27 assists. Audrey Rush controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
