Baseball Recap: Juan Diego Catholic Takes a Loss

Juan Diego Catholic lost against Cottonwood last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Soaring Eagle came up short against the Colts, falling 12-2. The Soaring Eagle have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hayden Mezenen was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Lange Livonius, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Juan Diego Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Cottonwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

While Juan Diego Catholic had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
