A Season-Best Performance from Emrick Hays Leads Garden Plain over Kingman

Garden Plain was led to victory by Emrick Hays, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hays rushed for 211 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (107.8). Those 211 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

The victory (which was Garden Plain's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Hays' next matchup is against Douglass on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Conway Springs Wins 17th-Straight Thanks to Isaac Winter

Isaac Winter was instrumental in extending Conway Springs's winning streak to 17 on Friday. Winter rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. His longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.

Conway Springs' victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Winter and Conway Springs will face off against Ellinwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Braxx Farr Goes Supernova in Medicine Lodge Victory

Braxx Farr posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made four total tackles (3.0 for loss).

For the year, Farr has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 69 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 7.6 rushing yards per game.
